PROXY

[They say there actually is a way to kill a Slenderman. They say only a proxy can do it. A well liked proxy. One who is trusted and relied on the most out of all the little lambs he has under his thumb. They say it’s a gift. A gift given to the proxy by the monster himself. Why? Well as a fail-safe. If it is a proxy’s job to do what the Slenderman cannot in human society and keep that black hole of a stomach fed, that makes him or her indispensable. What if one day, that proxy is stuck on the wrong end of its master’s predatory rampage? Why, he’d have to breed another proxy. One just as good. No. Too much work. Too much trouble for a creature that’s eternally starving. So the proxy is granted the ability to fight back, if it’s master were to ever to ‘lose its head’, so to speak. That way the proxy can go on being of use.]
